Dr. John Golan of North Shore Vascular has 30 years of experience treating veins & arteries. Fifteen years ago, he was the first physician in the Chicago area to provide laser treatment for varicose veins (EVLT) – and has trained more than 400 physicians on using the procedure. He is a Board Certified Vascular Surgeon and a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons with multiple hospital affiliations and is a Senior Clinician Educator at the Pritzker School of Medicine. Over the past two decades, he’s consistently been named one of Chicago’s top vascular surgeons. Few “vein centers” or “vein clinics” have Board Certified Vascular Surgeons doing their procedures. That’s unfortunate because vascular surgeons are the only physicians uniquely trained to treat medical conditions involving veins and arteries.
