• Ocean State Apparel & More is a family owned business offering T-shirts, hats, sweatshirts, crafts, Rhode Island food and drink favorites, books, bath and beauty products, souvenirs, and much more — all produced by Rhode Island based companies and artists. In addition to giftware, we provide top-quality embroidery, screen printing, and heat transfer services, specializing in apparel for schools, corporations, and sports teams as well as individual customers. All of our custom-designed apparel is made in our state-of-the-art Johnston, R.I., printing facility or at our retail store, located directly across from T.F. Green Airport in Warwick, convenient to visitors and locals alike. The store offers products from well-known Rhode Island brands like Eclipse Coffee Syrup, Del’s Lemonade, Rhode Island Soapworks, and prints by Rhode Island artist Frank Galasso. ”We love Lil’ Rhody, so whether you're looking for a Rhode Island memento or some local advice on what to do and where to go, we are here to help,” says co-owner Michael Cabral. “We love talking about the Ocean State and meeting new people, so stop in for a visit." Originally established as Cabral Embroidery in 1995, Ocean State Apparel & More partners company founder Richard Cabral with his son Michael, daughter-in-law Cara, and the couple’s children, all of whom play a role in the company’ success, including meeting personally with the producers of every item sold at the store to ensure its quality and authentic Rhode Island roots. The family’s passion for locally made products is reflected in the fact that the company has been chosen by the Rhode Island Division of Tourism to represent Rhode Island manufacturers at the Eastern States Exposition (“The Big E”) in West Springfield, Mass. Ocean State Apparel & More is one of a handful of Rhode Island businesses honored to be selected as a full-time vendor in the Rhode Island building during the fair each September: others you may know include Del’s, Kenyon’s Grist Mill, and National Gold.
