• Dr. Paul Coffin opened his practice of podiatric medicine In Sioux City, IA in 1981 and is licensed in Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota. Dr Coffin treats patients with a variety of foot problems but specializes in biomechanics, orthotics, and podiatric sports medicine.
  
  Dr Coffin worked at Schuster Orthotics Laboratory in New York City for ten years where he studied under his late uncle, Dr. Richard Schuster, a noted sports podiatrist and biomecdhanics authority. Dr Coffin started his own lab in the early 80's, making orthotic appliances for his own patients. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Medical Association and the Iowa Podiatric Medical Society. He is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine and the American Baord of Podiatric Surgery.
  
  For the past five years, Dr Coffin has been honored to work with Ron Hruska, P.T. and his staff at the Hruska Physical Therapy Clinic in Lincoln, NE. There they have combined their knowledge and skills to help selected postural restoration patients with orthotics. More recently, he has expanded his lab to allow him to fabricate orthotics for other therapists and practitioners.
  
  Numerous coaches and trainers in various sports call upon Dr Coffin to help them prevent injuries on their teams as well as consult with injured athletes.
