About Us In 2010, we opened our doors in Claremont, California. With 23 years of growing skill and expertise in all things printed, we created Playtone Design Studios. Why? To start, we felt synchronized with the individuality of San Gabriel Valley—the lifestyle, energy and knack for innovation. And we wanted our identity to connect with our roots, one of the first forms of marketing, back to when Citrus & Avacado growers utilized “Crate labels” as artistic marketing tools. As Playtone Design Studios, we’re still one of LA County’s best, privately owned design studios, and our identity – our name, our look and our personality– is a direct reflection of our passion for utilizing an inspired mixture of art and design to grow business relationships that thrive.
