• General surgeons are highly-trained and provide surgical care for abdominal organs, abdominal wall hernias, endocrine organs, breast diseases, certain vascular diseases, and traumatic injuries. More common operations include laparoscopic gall bladder surgery, other advanced laparoscopic procedures, colorectal surgery, hernia repair, appendectomies, breast cancer surgery, thyroid operations, and hemorrhoid surgery. San Juan Health Partners General Surgery also offers laser treatment for large varicose veins in our office. Our surgeons received five years of rigorous training after medical school and have undergone additional testing to receive board certifications by the American Board of Surgery.
