  ROYAL CROWN DERBY PORCELAIN PIECES
  The Crown Derby Porcelain Company was established around 1750 in England. King George III granted permission to incorporate the 'Royal Crown' insignia into the Crown Derby back-stamp in 1773. In 1890, Queen Victoria appointed Crown Derby as 'Manufacturers of Porcelain to Her Majesty', and by Royal Warrant granted the title "The Royal Crown Derby Porcelain Company". The company is particularly known for its high quality, hand painted, bone china paperweight figures, and for its use of the imari style that is distinguished for its rich colors and intricate gilding.

This is called chocolate bloom, is not an indication the chocolate has gone bad, and is perfectly safe for consumption.
