The SBT is contacted weekly by area spas and physician's offices looking to employ our graduate massage therapists. The School of Body Therapies is Pennsylvania State Licensed to convey a 600-hour diploma in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and is approved by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodyworkers as a continuing education Approved Provider. In addition to the core class, there are many classes including approximately 1000 hours of electives offered primarily weekends and evenings year round. All classes on our calendar work towards the 600-hour diploma in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork, allowing you to chose classes of interest to complete your training. We carry a full line of Massage Therapy supplies including Biotone and Pure Pro products. Sheets, Bolsters and Hot/Cold Packs. All Continuing Ed & Weekend Classes are CEU eligible and accepted by the PA State Board of Licensing. Kathy Perniciaro, LMT, TTT(TM) Kathy was graduated from The School of Body Therapies in 1998 and established her private practice, Integrative Therapies in 1999. She started teaching for the School of Body Therapies in 2004 under the former owner and long time mentor, Joan Stocker. Kathy looks forward to her continued long career in massage therapy and as the new owner of The School of Body Therapies, has plans to grow and enrich this very special School of Massage and Bodywork.
