respect To satisfy my clients' sewing needs in the services that I offer, with Our Mission Statement confidence A Lifetime of Sewing Experience, My mom taught me the basics of sewing, and, by the time I was a sophomore in high school, I was making all my own clothes. As a young adult, I opened a dressmaking shop with many satisfied customers for several years. I altered and redesigned bridal gowns, created 3-piece tailored women's suits, and also offered alterations services. Fabric Arts Heritage My sewing DNA goes back for generations, and I was blessed with a kind, patient, and generous mother. As a volunteer at 82, she made 1,500 lap quilts for "Quilts for Kids", as well as quilts for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren! I have designed and created at least 10 quilts, from twin to king size for my own family. I have loved making my grandchildren's clothes and toys. American Girl doll clothes have been a passion of mine, and I created dozens of ensembles for online sales. The Tools of My Trade I have been blessed with owning a dream come true. I have been sewing with a Bernina sewing machine for decades, and inherited my mom's Bernina Artista which I loved to use, especially since she spent many hours doing what she loved. And now my husband gave me an awesome sewing computer, a Bernina 780, and I passed my mom's machine down to my granddaughter. This inspires me to share this gift with my friends, family, and future friends like you.
