About Us

• Dr. Shack received his doctorate from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1999. In conjunction with North Shore University Hospital, he has specialized in cognitive behavioral treatment and research of anxiety disorders since 1994. He completed predoctoral and postdoctoral training in cognitive behavioral therapy at the University of Texas-Medical Center. Currently, he teaches cognitive-behavioral therapy to graduate students at Roosevelt University. Dr. Shack is a member of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies and the American Psychological Association. He is licensed as a clinical psychologist by the State of Illinois, #071-006231. Dr. Shack offers anxiety treatment in the Oak Park office.
