About Us

• Strategic Behavioral Center-Raleigh is a 92 bed facility that offers a structured, therapeutic, and safe environment for male and female adolescents ages 12-17. The unique facility consists of 72 Psychiatric Residential Treatment (PRTF) beds, and 20 Child/Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatric (acute) beds. The Raleigh Center utilizes a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach, with a dedication to the highest quality of care in North Carolina. Strategic Behavioral Center’s professional staff is prepared to provide outstanding care for adolescents with severe emotional and behavioral problems, serving a population with general psychiatric disorders such as depression, anxiety, attention deficit disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, bi-polar disorder, substance abuse, mood disorder, and others. Strategic Behavioral Center strives to put families back together one piece at a time by using a combination of a therapeutic level system, behaviorally-driven point system, and behavior management system.
