• Established in 1987, Surf City Pool Spa & Solar started out as Holiday Pool and Spa. Originally located in Scotts Valley, California, Michael continues to evolve and grow his business to fit his customer’s needs. We found our customers increasingly wanted us onsite. So we closed the store–but definitely not the business! Now we specialize in home service calls in Santa Cruz, Aptos, Capitola, and Scotts Valley. This allows us to be where you need us most–and we save you time and money, offering parts and supplies with free delivery. With over 26 years of industry experience, Surf City Pool Spa & Solar has become the #1 leader in the Santa Cruz area for the upgrade, repair, replacement and supplier of all of your swimming pool, spa and hot tub needs. More About Mike Michael Hall was a Hydraulics Specialist in the US Air Force. After his years of service, Michael relocated to Northern California and for 12 years worked for major pool supply and servicing companies. His focus was on great customer service, organization and staffing. Michael is licensed by the State of California–but unlike most of his competitors who are merely licensed to clean swimming pools, Mike has a full c-53 builder’s license. Additional training installing solar heating systems combined to give Michael the perfect set of skills for his own pool and spa repair store. While Mike does not install swimming pools, he has all the licensing, training, and experience to install, replace, and repair all your pool, spa, and hot tub equipment.
