About Us

  • Susan M. Joseph, Esq has decades of experience working with individuals and families to find fair solutions to her clients' problems with minimal stress and financial strain. She is well-respected in New Jersey as a tough lawyer with a big heart and specializes in family law, divorces, elder law and estate matters. Ms. Joseph regularly serves as a court-appointed guardian for children and for adults who cannot manage their business or personal needs. Ms. Joseph has often served as a court-appointed guardian ad litem for children whose parents are divorcing and for adults who may need assistance with legal matters. She is also a Superior Court of New Jersey court-approved mediator for family and civil matters and has mediated over 500 family law cases. She is also a court-approved arbitrator for Superior Court civil cases. In addition, Ms. Joseph has served on the faculty of the Superior Court of New Jersey Judicial College as well as at the Superior Court of New Jersey Family Judges Annual Retreat. She is a member of the Morris County Bar Association and is licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey. Ms. Joseph earned her JD from Seton Hall University School of Law and a BA in English Literature with Honors from Simmons College.
