• Syntex Industries has a manufacturing facility of over 21,000 Square feet. The plant facility has modern equipment, is clean and well lit. Syntex does well keeping up with all OSHA standards, providing a very safe environment. in the summertime, the plant is air conditioned to help keep our Employees comfortable so they concentrate on quality and workmanship. Our employees are well trained and have many years of experience, especially in key areas. Syntex manufactures a very diverse line of products primarily focused on the Marine, Ag & Fire Industries. In the Marine industry Syntex manufactures boat lift canopies, log covers, custom boat covers and storage nets. We have a wide variety of colors to choose from, as well as different material; such as 18 oz. vinyl, Harbor Time and Sunbrella. We currently manufacture boat lift canopies for Milford Welding, Danborn Engineering, ShoreStation and Basta. Our marine products are sold throughout the Midwest. Syntex provides over 80% of all canopies in the Okoboji area alone. In the Ag industry we manufacture roll tarps and roll tarp kits for grain trailers, grain carts, wagons and truck boxes. Syntex has an indoor installation area allowing us the ability to install the roll tarp kits when needed. We also carry a large variety of replacement parts. Our sales include Coops and many dealers throughout the Midwest. For the Fire industry Syntex manufactures portable water tanks in steel or aluminum frames and in sizes ranging from 600 - 5000 gallons. We also manufacture hosebed covers, restraint netting and SCBA mats. We sell to several manufactures of fire trucks and have over 60 dealers throughout the nation. Syntex also manufactures many other products such as line of Show'rbags for the Health industry. The Show'rbag protects a cast from getting wet when a person is taking a shower. We sell nationwide to hospitals, orthopedic centers and pharmacies. Over the years Syntex has enjoyed doing business with many Iowa based companies such as; Hagie Manufacturing, Stellar Industries, Kiefer Manufacturing, Monsanto, Montag Manufacturing, Kerber Milling, Ag Property Solutions, Pioneer, Pro Coop, New Coop, ShoreStation, Toyne and Gomaco to name a few.
