About Us

  • Jack A. Tandy was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 21, 1957. He graduated from Franklin Central High School and Wabash College. He graduated from Wabash Magna Cum Laude and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa scholastic fraternity. He graduated from the Indiana University School of Law at Indianapolis in 1982. He began private practice with Blankenship & Caudill in Indianapolis in 1982. Tandy moved to Shelby County in 1983 and successfully ran for Judge of Shelby County Court in 1984. He served as a trial judge in Shelby County Court, Shelby Superior Court #2 and Shelby Superior Court #1 for a total of thirty years, retiring from the bench on December 31, 2014.
