About Us

  • We buy & sell coins, stamps, gold, silver, and collectables. The Stamp & Coin Place is located in the historic downtown of Bellingham, WA. Bellingham sits along the west coast between Seattle, WA and Vancouver, BC. Our large online presence allows us to maintain our “olden-days” demeanor of small city life while simultaneously making our goods available worldwide. Currently we reside in the old Bellingham National Bank building, with two stores, an online department, a jewelry department, a magazine production facility, and an art gallery. We're open every first Friday of the month for the Bellingham Art Walk, where local artists present their work. Our main store is The Stamp & Coin Place, where you can buy or sell many different products related to precious metals or stamps. We carry a number of U.S. or foreign coins, currency and stamps. Our website also has real time spot prices for bullion. Our jewelry works Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, but you can come in anytime to see our gold and platinum jewelry with styles from Victorian to modern. We also have a collection of Bellingham memorabilia, stones, and artifacts such as petrified dinosaur eggs! Our other store section called S&C ETC. has collectibles, antiques, sterling silver jewelry, postcards and stamp catalogs. Check the back of the store for the art gallery and take a look at the workspace where we draft and design our quarterly magazine called ETC. To learn more, find us on social media or check out our blog where we have hundreds of stories to share! Call The Stamp and Coin Place today to inquire about inventory or ask any questions!
