  • Dr. Todd Sekundiak is an expert in complex procedures that provide efficiency for the rapid recovery of primary and revision procedures, which results in patients getting back to their quality of life faster. Dr. Sekundiak utilizes the latest technology that results in minimal complications, shorter hospital stays and fewer complications. Dr. Sekundiak is fellowship trained and board certified and board eligible by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Using state-of-the-art surgical techniques and specialized treatments, he provides quality orthopaedic care you can trust. Dr. Sekundiak earned his medical degree in 1987 from the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He then completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC, and an arthroplasty fellowship at the Arizona Center for Joint Replacement in Phoenix and Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s and Central DuPage Hospitals in Chicago. Since then, he has served as an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Manitoba, medical director of the Manitoba Bone and Tissue Bank, head of the Subsection Adult Hip and Knee Canadian Medical Association and the examiner of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Sekundiak is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He specializes in adult joint reconstruction using minimally invasive techniques and in the revision of mostly lower extremity failures. His research interests include outcomes management of these cases.
