• Thank you for considering Tutor Cafe for your tutoring needs. There are many tutoring organizations out there, from large national companies to independent tutors working on their own. And there is also a wide range of quality, cost, and delivery methods. Tutor Cafe has endeavored to create an education company that offers the best combination of quality, cost, and delivery. Ultimately, we set out to design a service that appeals to parents, students, and tutors. Although there are certainly similarities among tutoring companies, these are items that separate Tutor Cafe from the crowd:
  
  Company Foundation
  Founded and operated by educators. Dr. Lonnie Yancsurak and Dr. Bill Redford have extensive experience in education as teachers, principals, regional directors, and school developers. We have seen it all in education, and we understand what it takes to educate students. We also have experience outside of education, so that helps us to understand how to run companies effectively.
  
  Customer Service Focus
  We want you to be 100% happy with your experience. You will see that in the customer surveys that we send out. We do understand that no system is perfect, so if you are not 100% happy, we want to hear about it so that we can fix it.
  
  Safety
  A large percentage of tutoring is done by tutors who have not had their backgrounds checked. You won't have the concern with Tutor Cafe Tutors. As part of our vetting process, all Tutor Cafe Tutors go through a background check before interacting with students.
