About Us

  • Vefele's Equine Parnterships delivers training in the discipline of dressage. Available to riders of all ages on horses of all breeds. Vefele's Equine Partnerships was established in 2012 by Vefele Petruik to provide quality education that brings horses and riders together in harmony. In addition to serving the established dressage community, VEP aims to provide interested competitive and non-competitive riders with a safe and fun environment to grow their relationships with their horses. As president of VEP, Vefele Petruik is an established FEI dressage rider who has spent more than 10 years working with world class riders and trainers including: Gail Hoff Carmona – USDF Gold Medalist and FEI Grand Prix trainer. In her downtime, she is a Ph.D. immunologist. Hilda Gurney – Two-time Olympian and bronze medalist (1976). Shelley Lawder – USDF Gold Medalist, Judge, and Pan American candidate. Col. Christian Carde – French Olympic team competitor and coach, and head trainer of the Cadre Noir. Coby van Baalen – Olympic team (2000), world championship (1998) and European championship(1999) silver medalist. Her work with these people involved training and showing at all levels and with multiple disciplines. This work has developed her ability to work with each horse and rider to achieve excellent results on a continuous basis. The focus at VEP is to provide the classical collaboration that harmonizes communication between partners. While pursuing success in the show ring, miscommunications often arise that can damage the relationship between the horse and its rider. At VEP, we work with you by providing common sense and readily understood techniques that strengthen the bond between you and your horse. This bond is based on sympathy, confidence and respect and as such will be a strong, enduring bond. The bottom line is that we at VEP work tirelessly with all riders at all levels and disciplines to build a lifelong synergy with your four-legged riding companion.
