Dr. Perkins joined Tennessee Valley OB/GYN in 2019. She always knew she wanted to work in women's health. As a woman she feels that she can better understand and relate to her patients. One of her favorite parts of the OB/GYN field is being able to build long lasting relationships with her patients and care for them through various stages of their life. Her care philosophy is to educate her patients on all their options while guiding them and maintaining their safety. She loves being a source of information for her patients and ensuring they are properly informed on their healthcare choices. Her clinical interests include minimally invasive surgery, and routine and high-risk obstetrical care.
