• We are a family owned business, now in our 41st year of operation. Our home is located on the same property as our facility. This allows us daily hands on contact with every aspect of our operation 24-7. We invite you to tour our facility anytime during normal business hours, although to insure ample time scheduled appointments are available and encouraged. ​ The Ciampa family moved to Hollis in 1972. My mother Pat Ciampa always loved larger bred animals owning many dogs, cats and horses in the past years. She eventually found that the Great Dane breed was a perfect fit for her. Breeding litters of Great Dane pups required particular care, thus in 1976 Village Sentry Kennel was born. Now, nearly four decades later, we don’t consider ourselves a kennel, but a home away from home for your pet. The same concept is still practiced as it was for my mother almost 40 years ago. When you go away or out of town there is a need for someone to care for your beloved companions seven days a week, 365 days a year. ​ My name is Michele Kuzmich, Pat Ciampa’s daughter and I now run the business. I moved back from New York in 2007 to re-connect with the family pet care business that was a huge part of my life growing up. My husband Mark and I eventually took over the ownership and property of Village Sentry Pet Care. I believe in our fresh approach and new ideas continuously keeping up with the ever-changing needs of our pet owners. ​ Our doggie daycare is a wonderful addition for working owners to have peace of mind in the fact that their pets are enjoying an interactive and social day full of activities. Years later, having raised my children, I am so grateful to be back to my roots.
