About Us

  • Looking for a traditional attorney/client relationship? Then Wallace Pierce Law definitely isn’t for you. We aren’t your traditional personal injury law firm. We have a rather interesting and unique office environment. We represent people with car accident claims across North Carolina and do so in a manner of ever-increasing efficiency and efficacy. We avoid the plague of the status quo by constantly exploring industry advancements in technology, negotiation strategies and client relations. We engage each and every employee to explore career growth and advancement, from sending lawyers to conferences across the United States for continuing legal education to helping paralegals attend law school. Customer service and client relations are more than words; they represent our passion for personal injury law. It’s the 21st Century Times are changing, and so is the legal industry. What image comes to mind when someone says “lawyer?” If it’s someone in a three-piece suit sitting in a worn leather chair that makes you wait 45 minutes for your appointment, then you’re not alone. However, that’s not the image we want people to think of when they hear “Wallace Pierce Law.” It’s the 21st century, and we’re spearheading the changing image of North Carolina personal injury lawyers. In fact, the way we do things couldn’t be more different. We are a firm dedicated to ensuring that our clients are educated about personal injury law and litigation in North Carolina. Have you ever heard the expression, “Give a man a fish, and he’ll eat for a day; teach him how to fish, and he’ll eat for a lifetime?” We firmly believe that educated clients are better off. We cannot expect our clients to understand and appreciate that the decisions that they will make will affect the rest of their life without having a proper understanding of the personal injury process in North Carolina. What Clients Want and Need We are different by design in a quantifiable way. First, we know that clients not only want to deal directly with their lawyer but also need direct and unfettered access to their personal injury lawyer. While paralegals and legal assistants are extremely important, we know that hearing from the lawyer is paramount to a healthy attorney/client relationship. Second, our advanced technology and office culture is focused on ensuring that each client can not only reach the lawyer but can also hear from the lawyer on a regular and systematic basis. Moreover, each and every client is given their lawyer’s direct-dial number and personal email address to facilitate simplified communication. These differences aren’t accidental. We are different by intentional design to ensure that our clients’ needs and concerns are constantly being addressed. This simple philosophy can summed up as this: “After a car accident, not being able to reach their attorney should be the last thing a client has to worry about.” Case Load Control Injury law in North Carolina is, as you are likely discovering, an extremely complicated, confusing and time-consuming process. We discovered many years ago that seeking hundreds upon hundreds of cases at any given time would prohibit the lawyers from properly interacting with and investigating each injury claim. The policy for our attorneys is not for them to spend their hours seeking mediocre settlements or signing client after client, but to handle each case on an individual basis, ensuring each client gets the best representation and personal attention required. A Focus on Practicing Law We understand that we offer unique services to a specific type of personal injury client. We spend a lot of time and energy ensuring that each employee at the firm is systematically trained to ensure that their role and function in the firm is clearly defined. Our idea of a terrible work environment is an office where everyone is constantly in a panic about things not being done properly because no one knows exactly who is responsible for what task. Our office is operated and run by the latest legal technology to ensure that any task undertaken can be completed effectively and efficiently. We aim to ensure that no person at the firm wastes their time flipping through disorganized client files, attending purposeless office meetings and waiting on other staff members to cooperate in the process. Our goal is to focus time and energy on loyally advocating for clients’ interests. Office Culture Many lawyers are proud to tell anyone that will listen about how close their office is to the courthouse. Unlike other lawyers, we didn’t select our office space to be close to the courthouse. We located our several offices near to where our clients live to reduce how much time clients have to spend traveling to their lawyer. Moreover, we have several office locations across North Carolina. At Wallace Pierce Law, we understand that our employees have lives independent of work, and we encourage our people to find balance in each and every aspect of their lives. This philosophy is most evident in the benefits package our employees receive, from generous health insurance to mandatory vacations. More importantly, our office environment fosters strong and healthy working relationships among all employees. Our employees are vested in the success of the firm. As such, our office conducts quarterly “feasibility discussions,” where the staff is presented with the client and financial metrics for the previous quarter and new goals are set. However, having goals is not enough. After new goals have been set, the staff determines the incentives for successfully reaching the goals. Goals have ranged from bonuses to office trips. We want to fill our offices with people who desire to succeed in everything they do and people that understand that a career is significantly more than a job. We know that our office environment is unique and that is what makes our firm a great place to work.
