Dr. Willoughby was born in Deadwood, SD. He received his bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University in Fort Collings, and went on to St. Louis University for his medical degree. He spent eight weeks in an African jungle hospital in 1980. Dr. Willoughby is board certified in internal medicine and in geriatrics. He was elected to the Fellowship of American College of Physicians in 2013. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine for the University of North Dakota. Dr. Willoughby has three children.
