• David P. Trofa, MD, associate professor of orthopedic surgery at Columbia University Irving Medical Center is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in the operative and non-operative treatment of athletes of all ages and skill levels. He is an expert in arthroscopic and open surgery of the knee, shoulder, and elbow with special interests in cartilage restoration and orthobiologics, including platelet rich plasma (PRP) and stem cell applications.
