Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology? I discovered an interest in Gastroenterology during medicine rotation as a third year student. Do you have a specialty of interest within GI? Nutrition. Where did you study? I attended the University of Texas at Austin for undergraduate studies and then the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio for medical school. I completed my internship, residency and fellowship in gastroenterology at University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, TX. What certifications do you hold?
