Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology? The Gastroenterology specialty encompasses all forms of pathology including autoimmune, infectious, inflammatory, neoplastic and metabolic. It gives me the opportunity to use my cognitive and manual skills in treating complicated GI disorders. Do you have a specialty of interest within GI? I practice and treat all types of gastroenterology disorders. Where did you study? Undergraduate: Texas A&M Medical School: Des Moines College of Osteopathic Medicine Residency and Fellowship: Baylor Scott and White Hospital What certifications do you hold? Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine What do you and your family enjoy doing in your spare time? I enjoy spending time with my family and reading.
