• The history of Durango Transfer goes back to the horse and buggy days, where "Durango Transfer and Livery' was first located on Main Avenue. The business has evolved from primarily a commodities hauler-hauling coal, produce and lumber-to a local, statewide, national and international shipper as an agent for Atlas Van Lines. We also handle stores, deliver and set up new furniture and fixtures for various projects, as well as sensitive electronic equipment. Durango Transfer is the only moving company in the Four Corners area that has a secure, palletized warehouse specifically constructed to store household goods.
