Dr. Gurveen Sandhu is a primary care physician who practices in Torrance. Her clinical interests include preventive care and patient education. She is board certified in internal medicine and an assistant professor of medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She looks forward to developing long-term relationships with her patients. Before moving to the outpatient setting, Dr. Sandhu spent five years as a hospitalist physician, treating inpatients in Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and UCLA Health – Santa Monica Medical Center. She received her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She then completed her internal medicine residency and chief residency at UCLA. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Biology from UC Davis. Dr. Sandhu grew up in the Bay Area and recently moved with her husband to the South Bay. When she’s not working, she enjoys participating in outdoor activities, such as golf and pickleball, cooking and dining out.
