• HappyNest is a laundry pickup and delivery service that can pick up your laundry from home, wash, dry, fold and bring it back to you the very next day. Like all great things, HappyNest was born out of a need. When John and Katie MacKrell brought home their fourth child, not only did they necessarily acquire an entire new wardrobe for their first baby boy, they also became responsible for the laundry of six people. Wondering what that was like? It was endless piles of clothes stacked up, folded, knocked down, knocked down and refolded, or simply strewn all over. Laundry soap was always on the weekly grocery list and it did not help that the situation was constantly evolving with no end in sight! Eventually, John threw his hands up in the air and decided he had to do something about the laundry. At the end of the day, he just wanted to come home and spend time with his family. He dreamt of a service that would take care of everything laundry related from start to finish. Looking around, though, he saw no such system in place. That's why, just over four years ago, he started HappyNest – a start-to-finish, pickup and drop-off laundry service. So there...one family's exhaustion with laundry, one man's desperate plea for it to just disappear; became the foundation for HappyNest. And here we are today, in 12 states with over 3 million pounds of laundry done and growing every day.
