About Us

• Humane Society of Saginaw County, Inc. is a non-profit 501c3 that gets all their funding through private donations. All donations are tax deductible. We have been serving the residents and animals of Saginaw County since 1947. We rescue cats/kittens and dogs/puppies from terrible living situations. We are foster-home based rescue as we feel this is best for the animal's physical and emotional recovery from neglect. All of our rescues are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and treated for any illness. We thoughtfully match potential adopters with a pet to ensure that this will be the pet's final, forever, indoor and loving home. We believe No-Birth is the first step to No-Kill. We offer low cost spay and neuter of owned pets. We are strong advocates for Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) as it is the most effective and humane way to control the overpopulation problem of unowned community cats. We provide pet food assistance.
