• Dr. Jennifer Logan is a primary care physician who practices in Pacific Palisades. She is board certified in family medicine and provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages, from newborns to centenarians. Dr. Logan provides full-spectrum family medicine, which includes care for chronic diseases, routine physicals, well child checks, men's and women's health, travel medicine and immediate care. She also performs procedures, such as joint injections, skin biopsies, placement of intrauterine devices and Nexplanon, and laceration repair. She is passionate about women's health and psychiatry. She practices evidence-based medicine and discourages unnecessary usage of antibiotics, addicting medications, and homeopathic/naturopathic remedies without strong scientific evidence of both safety and effectiveness. She is a strong proponent of preventive medicine including routine vaccinations against diseases such as influenza. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Logan is an Assistant Professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, for which she regularly precepts medical students. She is a strong advocate for patient, physician and community medical education, and has given educational talks at events throughout the greater Los Angeles community, as well as abroad�notably in Bali, Indonesia, where she spoke to physicians about women's health. She has also conducted Grand Rounds lectures to South Bay physicians on topics including primary care psychopharmacology and contraception. Dr. Logan received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She then completed her family medicine residency at UCLA. She earlier obtained her undergraduate degree in Molecular Psychobiology from the State University of New York in Binghamton, where she graduated summa cum laude. Prior to joining the UCLA Health Pacific Palisades office, Dr. Logan worked at UCLA Health's Redondo Beach location for six years, from 2013 to 2019. Dr. Logan grew up in Virginia, but has also loved California, and is happy to live here today. When not working, she enjoys running in local 5Ks, exploring Los Angeles on her bicycle, and spending as much time as possible in the sunshine with her husband.
