“I am thorough and detail oriented and I genuinely try to go above and beyond for each of my patients,” Dr. Kelley said. She believes teamwork is essential to practicing medicine well. “Every member of the care team affects the patient experience. Patients should be able to make their own choices, but we must counsel them appropriately so together we can make the best personalized treatment plan.” Dr. Kelley said her patients have taught her the power of positivity. “I have seen so many people with chronic dermatologic conditions who still maintain a positive attitude. Patients like this remind me that even though you cannot control everything in life, you can control your reactions to what happens to you. And a positive attitude can make a big difference.”
