Marshall Medical Center has processes in place to deal with infectious diseases. Preparations for these events are not new to our staff. In the event of a huge influx of patients with suspected coronavirus (COVID-19). Marshall is prepared with portable shelters to triage, test, and treat patients. Marshall Hospital is significantly limiting visitation at this time to stop the spread of COVID-19. Only end of life patients, pediatric patients and laboring/new moms will be allowed visitors. We are also screening employees and vendors before the start of their shifts. At this time, we are rescheduling all non-urgent surgical cases to preserve resources, capacity and ensure safety for urgent appointments.
