Dr. Richard Cooke is a board certified primary care physician who practices at UCLA Health MPTF Toluca Lake location in Burbank. He specializes in Family Medicine. Dr. Cooke is a native of Minnesota. His interest in math and science led him to pursue degrees in Computer Science and Biology. After working as a software engineer and consultant, he attended medical school at the University of North Dakota. Upon completion of medical school, Dr. Cooke attended residencies in Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine in Detroit. He then served as a Family Medicine provider and full time faculty member with an emphasis on providing care for HIV+ patients and their family members. His outside interests include cooking, reading, weight lifting and family time with his partner and two pugs.
