South African-born, with a lifelong passion and awareness for design, I have worked and lived in South Africa, Prague, Paris, London, Singapore, Bucharest and now, Virginia, USA. Whilst living abroad, I studied and practiced Interior Design. I achieved an Advanced Diploma and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture at LASALLE college of the Arts in Singapore. I attended the KLC school of design in Chelsea, London and finally, having settled in the USA, have completed my second BFAID at the Academy of Art University of San Francisco to supplement my European design experience with American standards and styles. In South Africa I owned an Interior Design business with off-site soft furnishing and upholstery workrooms. The showroom was a space where clients could find inspiration and select furnishings from a myriad of sampling books and attend new product launches. Keeping up with current trends and products is key to my client service. As a result of living and working in many different countries, I have gained exceptional experience in diverse lifestyles, I have embraced cultures beyond my own and explored the Design industry in those countries. Past and current projects include Corporate office interiors, the design of Golf Resort accommodation, Embassy Residences, a Hair Salon, Family Homes, Garden Design, Event Styling and Property Staging.
