Krauss, M.D., is a neurosurgeon at Mayo Clinic's Rochester, Minnesota, campus. His clinical focus includes surgery for disorders of the cervical spine and craniocervical junction, including radiculopathy, myelopathy, Chiari malformation, basilar invagination and fractures. Additionally, Dr. Krauss specializes in surgery for spinal cord tumors and tumors of the vertebral column; vascular malformations of the spine and spinal cord; spinal fractures, and disorders of the lumbosacral and thoracic spine. His clinical interest areas include spinal instrumentation and the development of individualized treatments for spinal disorders based on genomics and outcomes analysis. In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Krauss is active in clinical research and publishing in academic journals.
