About Us

  • Dr. Zorawar Noor is a hematologist and medical oncologist who practices in Irvine and Laguna Hills. While he is a general hematologist and oncologist, he has a specialized interest in breast cancer and lung cancer. He is fluent in Hindi. Dr. Noor's goal is to bring the full suite of clinical trials and access to cutting edge research to his Orange County patients, and to serve as his patients' advocate through the continuum of their cancer care. He practices multidisciplinary, evidence-based medicine, and strongly believes in open communication as patients and their families undergo these life-changing events. Dr. Noor grew up in Baltimore, where he attended Johns Hopkins University for his undergraduate and graduate studies, which focused on cancer and reproductive biology. He received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, where he received awards for medical ethics and leadership, and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He then completed his internal medicine residency at the University of California, Irvine, where he was a chief resident and clinical instructor, before completing his hematology-oncology fellowship training at UCLA. During his training, Dr. Noor conducted translational research in genomics and immunotherapy, and designed clinical trials. His work has been published in high impact journals, and he received a grant from The Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy to support this work. He is a member of the American Society for Clinical Oncologists, the American Society of Hematology and the American College of Physicians, among other organizations. Dr. Noor lives in Irvine with his wife and two children. When he's not working, he enjoys doing art projects with his kids, trying local restaurants and cooking up new recipes with his family.
